MedNex Healthcare Platform ("MedNex") offers an SMS messaging program to facilitate healthcare communications between our platform, healthcare providers, and patients. By opting in to our SMS messaging service, you consent to receive text messages from MedNex at the mobile phone number you provide. These messages are designed to support your healthcare experience and are not used for marketing or promotional purposes.
2. Message Types & Use Cases
Our SMS messaging program is used exclusively for healthcare-related communications, including but not limited to:
Reminders, confirmations, rescheduling notifications, and cancellation notices
Follow-up care instructions, medication reminders, lab result availability
Payment confirmations, balance reminders, and billing statements
Urgent care notifications, health advisories, and wellness check-ins
3. Consent & Opt-In
By submitting your mobile phone number through our website registration form, patient intake form, or appointment scheduling form and checking the box to agree to receive text messages, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS/MMS messages from MedNex at the number provided. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your healthcare activity. You may receive up to 10 messages per month, depending on scheduled appointments, care plans, and billing activity. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details on your messaging plan.

7. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by using any of the following methods:
- 1.Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any MedNex text message
- 2.Call us at (305) 209-0001 and request to be removed
- 3.Email support@mednexapp.com with "SMS Opt-Out" in the subject line
- 4.Update your communication preferences in your patient portal at mednexapp.com
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message:
